Born and raised in the Chicagoland suburbs, John Zozzaro kicked off his entrepreneurial journey in his early twenties—touring the country as a musician and living life on the road. Somewhere between soundchecks and sleepless drives, a deeper fascination began to take hold: the collision of media, technology, and the power of storytelling.By 2013, John stepped off the stage and into entrepreneurship full-time, launching two marketing agencies built around his insider understanding of the music industry. His goal? Create real opportunities for bands and brands to thrive through authentic connections, creative strategy, and digital innovation.In 2015, he and his family made the move to Austin, TX, where his work began intersecting with the city’s initiatives around solving economic challenges in the music industry. That’s when serendipity stepped in. In 2016, he met Paul O’Brien, and together they co-founded MediaTech Ventures, a startup ecosystem builder designed to educate public, private, and corporate stakeholders on how to invest in MediaTech—while equipping founders with access to capital, tools, and networks to grow.Since then, John has mentored hundreds of startups around the world, served as a Professor of Entrepreneurship at TileYard University in London, and been a finalist for Austin’s “Changemaker” award. He’s built and launched three incubators that have helped founders raise over $20M, advises innovation programsinternationally, launched CannaTech Venturesin Chicago, and sits on the advisory board for Digital Denin Montenegro.In 2024, he took on a new chapter as Head of Marketing at Logictry, a no-code decision intelligence platform that’s transforming how companies scale knowledge and accelerate decision-making. At Logictry, John’s driving strategy and storytelling around personalized, logic-driven onboarding, SOPs, and interactive content that empower teams to ramp faster, think smarter, and grow with confidence.Whether he’s behind a strategy session or a guitar, John continues to collaborate with his talented wife, raise three amazing kids, and build things that make the world just a little bit better, one decision at a time.
